Marinara sauce

Yields:  6 cups
2 T. olive oil
1 lg. can crushed tomato
5 cloves garlic minced
1/2 c.fresh chopped parsley
salt, pepper, italian seasonings, oregano and basil  all to taste,,,,aproximately 1 heaping t. each.
1 medium chopped onion

In a medium sauce pan add olive oil, onions and garlic; saute on medium heat until transparent.  Add can of tomatoes, 3/4 can of water, parsley and seasonings. Heat for 25 minutes on medium low (You can cook a little longer for a thicker sauce).  Enjoy! AND top with plenty of Parmesan cheese!
